Who we are

William King P.E. is the owner and Principal Structural Engineer of Brown Paw Structural Engineering. At Brown Paw we strive to bring quality and ethical engineering consulting services to Colorado. We are located in sunny Salida.

Prior to pursuing my engineering license, I spent the best part of a decade working abroad with Samaritan's Purse. I had a variety of positions included building hospitals in Nigeria, NYC and Bangladesh, and managing food and NFI distributions in some of the most austere conditions of East Africa.

When not designing homes, I spend as much time as possible with my wife and newborn son. We enjoy camping, fly fishing, overlanding, and any snowy adventure with our two Bernese Mountain dogs, Elsie and Reuben “Rooster” Cogburn.
